CHAMBERSBURG, PA - - We visited Harpers Ferry National Historic Park today. The site is most famous for abolishonist John Brown's raid on the HP armory to incite an uprising of those held in slavery.
While there we ran across a guardian of the peace. Ambling down a stone wall next to St. Peters Roman Catholic Church came "Church Kitty. You tell because this multi-colored feline was wearing purple collar with a small bell. CK went on to check on the front door and then sprawled out to take a break. Unfortunately, we never learned the name of this church security expert.
The weather doesn't look good for tomorrow, but since we're near Gettysburg we may head that way.
