ORMOND BEACH, FL - - It's always fun to take a look back at some of our travels.  The above shot, from our 2013 ramble, shows the Wild Pacific Trailhead and the (automated) Amphitrite Point Lighthouse.  It's a grey day on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.   

A new blog title

ORMOND BEACH, FL - - Heading into my tenth season of blogging about the travels of Lydia and myself I felt it was time to change the DoubleEspresso title.  Mainly because I've found that a lot of one time viewers thing the blog is about coffee.  Sorry, but the story line is about travel and retired life.  Yes, DoubleEspresso does mean I/we like our coffee and once in a while coffee does wind it's way into the copy only not  as the main item.  Enjoy our further adventures.

ORMOND BEACH, FL - - Sorry fans, but it's the slow time of year here in OB. I know the blog posts have been scarce  It's tough to find things which haven't been covered before (or at least recently) during our stay at home.  Fortunately, it's only three months until we're off on another "ramble" around the U.S.
