NORTH RIM, AZ - - So here's what it looked like riding the employee shuttle back to the dorm at 3:05pm...snow/sleet and a 35-degree temperature. Another 10 miles up the road at the park entrance there were reports of 4-plus inches of wet snow. At 5:45 am this morning the clouds were gathering as the two photos (below) from the east and west terraces of the Grand Canyon Lodge show. The sun was trying to come out, but lost out to the clouds and then reappeared only to really get covered up.
